The  Groomsmen

In our wedding I’ll be accompanied by 4 of my best friends. I’ve known all of them for several years and I’m glad that we will all share this great moment together. In this page you’ll find more information about what makes each one of them unique for me.

Panos

Panos

I’ve known Panos (and his wife Olga) for more than half of my life. Literally! I was 16 years old when we first met. We are both very passionate for technology and we used to have really long discussions about it. He always knew the best books to help me learn every new programming language that interested me. And he is the best website developer I know. I was really honored to be the best man in his wedding. After all these years, every time we hang out, it feels like we’re still two teenagers.

Giannis

Giannis

I’ve known Giannis since I was 16 and I always remember him smiling and telling jokes. He's one of the funniest people I know. Not only does he know the latest jokes, but he also has a great way to tell them. Giannis has also been to the most weddings than anybody else I know. That’s because he’s a DJ at weddings. This is his passion and he is really good at it, because he devotes his heart. As a result, he has a huge playlist of Greek songs and he’s up-to-date with the latest trends and singers

Andreas

Andreas

I first met Andreas several years ago, when I visited Patras during my spring break at UCLA. He was Fenia’s (Ira’s sister) boyfriend. Since then we’ve spent many holidays together with lots of cooking and eating. We enjoy talking about programming and technology, as he is really passionate about computer games. In the past, during his free time he was either playing a computer game or developing one. However, he and Fenia recently had a child. So, now he spends all his time bonding with his son.

Leonidas

Leonidas

Leonidas is one of the first people, who I met when I came to Microsoft in 2006. He can participate in every discussion, as he has a wide range of interests: from windsurfing and hiking to investing, real estate and technology. Recently he built his kayak from scratch. Now he’s ready to sail on different lakes around Seattle. All he needs is to find free time, when he’s not preparing for Marathons, playing in soccer leagues and climbing mountains. I always wonder where he finds all this time!
